The history behind shootbee

 

My journey behind the lens began in 2014, evolving from weddings to real estate, and most recently to architecture and fine art photography. But like many creatives, I found myself drowning in admin rather than creating.

Leveraging my background in web design and software development, I built a custom platform with a dedicated client app to manage my own commercial activities. That tool proved so vital to my workflow that the idea quickly outgrew my studio. It transformed into shootbee: a complete hive designed to empower the businesses of fellow creative professionals.

I’m the founder, developer, and "Chief Bee" behind shootbee. I built this because I was tired of disjointed tools stealing my creative time.

Born from the need to optimize my own workflow and further improve client relationships, I rolled out the first version of our custom platform.

Realizing the potential, I envisioned transforming the platform into a comprehensive solution designed to serve the wider photography community.

2025
Born on paper, shootbee entered a period of deep conceptualization: expanding workflows, refining the vision, and developing the marketing strategy to serve the creative community.

2025
I laid the foundation of the shootbee IT infrastructure, kicking off the core development phase to bring my vision to life.

2026
The shootbee public website goes live, and the countdown begins: launch day is set for October 15th, 2026.
